Finding Your Own Scrapping Style

The use of photos and memorabilia to recall special events in one's life is as unique as the individuals themselves. Much thought goes into creating a scrapbook full of memories. There are many different styles, tools and other ways to create a perfect keepsake or memory book. Though everyone has a different style they can always find a way to express it through the different templates, pages, backgrounds, embellishments and other unique designs allowed by scrapbooking. Finding one's style is not that difficult even though it may seem like a major undertaking. There are a few tips and tricks to help each person find their own style, therefore allowing them to explore their own unrestricted free will.

Most scrappers work on books and templates for a while before they even begin to understand their own style. While most people have a unique presence and express it through the different themes, colors and appliqués it is apparent to those looking at the page objectively. For some scrapbook connoisseurs it is the classic or more simplistic style, but for others it is a new age or more abstract style. Most people do not only find one style appealing and in fact can pick templates from each and every style. There is nothing set in stone or even guides an individual to stick to a particular style, experimenting and expression should always be sought when working with photos.

Looking at the work and creativity of other scrapbook lovers is a good way to find your own unique style. It may not fall into any category, yet be something that the person develops on they're own. That is the nice thing about scraping, because it allows the person to experiment and find their own key to success.
